As the International Relations Office, we have conducted various visits to Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo, which are part of the Erasmus program's Western Balkans group, in order to enhance our current university portfolio and further advance our ongoing collaborations with existing partners.
During a corporate visit by our Institutional Coordinator, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sami İşlek, to the University of Sarajevo, discussions were held to continue the existing proposals for collaboration between both universities.
The Erasmus+ ICM Programme Coordinator, Lecturer Emrah Orakcıoğlu, also had several meetings in Kosovo and Albania. In Kosovo, discussions were held on the necessary steps to maintain existing partnerships with the University of Prishtina, while in Albania, discussions were held with University of New York Tirana. In addition to these, a meeting was held with the International Relations Officer and the Deans and Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Law at Haxhi Zeka University in the city of Peja, Kosovo. It was decided to sign a cooperation protocol between the two universities, which will be effective from 2023.
