ESOGU Delegation Visits Albania

The delegation of Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGU) consisting of Prof. Dr. Kamil ÇOLAK, Rector, Prof. Dr. Ramazan ERDAĞ, Vice Rector, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sami İŞLEK, Coordinator of International Relations Office, held official visits with Albanian Universities with the aim of developing bilateral collaborations.

The official visits of the delegation started with the courtesy calls to Tayyar Kağan ATAY, Tiran Ambassador of Türkiye and Dr. Emine Gizem BAŞKAN, Programme Coordinator of Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and then continued with the visits and programmes organised by the Fan S. Noli University and University New York Tirana (UNYT).

A signing ceremony was held at Fan S. Noli University to sign and celebrate the memorandum of understanding between the two Universities with the Rector, Vice Rector, Coordinator of International Affairs and the Deans of Fan S. Noli University. On the other hand, the visit at UNYT resulted in a commitment of both Universities to sign a memorandum of understanding in the nearest time and develop common mobility and scientific research projects. At the end of the visit programme, Prof. Dr. Kamil ÇOLAK attended the opening ceremony for the new academic year at the UNYT and stated their aim with these visits as promoting and providing opportunities for researchers at both Universities to meet each other, to carry out common interdisciplinary studies and prepare national and international projects. He then concluded his speech by underlining these collaborations: “To the knowledge of you, these collaborations are much significant in terms of using the available resources more efficiently and more effectively. On this connection, I wish these agreements and commitments will shed light our march through the science road.”
