ESOGU was proudly represented at the APAIE 2026 Higher Education Conference and Exhibition by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sami İŞLEK, International Relations Office and Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, and Lect. Dr. Emrah ORAKCIOĞLU, Coordinator for Erasmus+ KA171, KA2, and ESC Projects. Held in Hong Kong this year, the event is recognised as the most comprehensive and prestigious of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region.

Regarded as one of the world's premier international events for higher education institutions, the APAIE Conference and Exhibition brought together over 500 universities and approximately 3,000 participants from 65 countries this year, providing a dynamic platform for face-to-face discussions on collaboration opportunities.

At the event, 82 Turkish universities were represented in the "Study in Türkiye" pavilion, coordinated by the Turkish National Agency and attended by the Agency's President, Mr. İlker ASTARCI. Following the EAIE 2025 Exhibition held in Sweden last September, our university was once again proudly showcased to the international higher education community, facilitating productive meetings with institutional representatives from various regions across the globe.

During bilateral meetings with 12 different higher education institutions at the Eskişehir Osmangazi University stand, discussions focused on establishing new academic partnerships and collaborations in line with our university's internationalization strategy and objectives, complementing our existing global ties. Notably, initial steps were successfully taken to forge new collaborations, specifically with universities in the Asia-Pacific region.
