Algeria Visit of Our Delegation

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ramazan Erdağ and Institutional Coordinator of International Relations Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmut Sami İşlek made contacts and visits in Algeria, which is in the Southern Mediterranean group of the Erasmus+ KA171 ICM programme, in order to expand the partner portfolio in line with the internationalisation strategy of our University.

Within the scope of the visits, our University delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Algeria, Muhammet Mücahit Küçükyılmaz, and exchanged ideas about the activities carried out in Algeria.

At Médéa Yahia Fares University, partnership negotiations took place by discussing the conditions of the cooperation in a meeting which was attended by the Vice Rector for international markets, Dr. Mohamed Maazouz and various other members, and the delegation decided on the issue of signing a memorandum of understanding as a first step into the partnership.

Then at the Barika Central University – Batna, our University delegation met with Quality Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Somia Nasri and the relevant delegation and discussed the signing of a cooperation protocol for the management of the partnership between the two institutions and the subsequent steps to be taken. At Barika University, the last institution visited, ideas were exchanged about matching targets in line with the internationalisation goals, signing a cooperation protocol and activities to be carried out in the next steps of the partnership.
